We collect only the information you choose to give us, plus limited technical data collected automatically when you visit our site (described under Analytics below). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it except with the service providers described below that help us operate the site.
Contact form
When you send us a message through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message. These are delivered to us by email through Resend, an email delivery service, so that we can respond to you. We keep your message only as long as needed to reply and follow up.
Donations
Donations are processed by Zeffy, a third-party payment platform. When you donate, your payment details are handled by Zeffy under its own privacy policy — Say Hello Neighbor does not receive or store your card or bank information. Please review Zeffy's privacy policy to understand how it handles your data.
Analytics & cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you visit, and how you arrived at our site. This information is processed by Google under its own privacy policy. We use these insights only to improve the site — we do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing Google's browser opt-out add-on, or by using your browser or device settings to block or delete cookies.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work with reputable service providers (Resend, Zeffy, Google) that maintain their own security practices.
Your choices and rights
You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request that we delete it. You can also choose not to submit the contact form if you prefer not to share your information.
California residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to correct inaccurate information. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. Children's privacy
Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
